Hi, and welcome to my personal webpage!
First a little background: I'm a software engineer currently living in Washington State. I lived in the D.C. Area before then, and my coding used to be more in the lines of web development than what it is nowadays.
I like to give himself side projects from time to time, usually to keep an understanding in some of the tools I don't regularly work on in my day-to-day activities. Making my own personal website -- and having it be something useful -- is one of those longer-term interests.
Disclaimer: any content on this site is my own; my opinions are my own and not of my employer.
I like to include information the tools I use for transparency: I try to describe this in the Technology section of my websites.
If you're curious about other projects I have:
I've been casually reviewing things over the years. After many, many reviews that I published on some platforms and not others, I wanted to centralize the reviews I have. Partly because I want to retain my own content (although I don't see things like Facebook or Google going anywhere, you can never be certain) and partly because opinions change over time, and I wanted to express that better. Although platforms let you look at the history of posts, those things are separate pieces of information and not really reflecting on the history of the content as a whole.
I'm someone that will enjoy rewatching a movie or rereading a book and will be curious of how my opinions change over time: I think something that can withstand the test of time is a more successful product than a flash in the pan.
