Alita: Battle Angel (2019)

I watched Alita: Battle Angel (2019) during the flight to DC, and thought it was a decent action film. Directed by Robert Rodriguez (who I think is a little overrated), this is a film about a cyborg found in a scrapyard and rebuilt by a surgeon named Ido (played by Christoph Waltz). Newly assembled and named, Alita (Rosa Salazar) tries to stir her memory to remember who - and what - she is.

As an action film there was a good amount of it, story felt pretty basic. It was pretty enjoyable to watch, although I'm uncertain if it'd keep my attention for multiple watches. It did pack quite a bit for a 2hr film though. 7/10
