Doctor Strange (2016)

Superhero films haven't been doing a lot for me in recent years, but I was hopeful for Doctor Strange (2016). Between it being a minor Marvel character (so you can take more liberties with the story) and the heavy visual element to the series I was looking forward to it. But i felt the visuals too heavy handed or distracting, and the origin story was too "generic origin story". A fun film, that was good to watch but in the end just OK. 6/10
