I recently lent a coworker my Jhonen Vasquez graphic novels (Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Squee) and soon after I heard about the new film: Invader ZIM: Enter the Florpus. It was good to see all the characters back again, but when it's a product of its time it doesn't necessarily age well. While I liked seeing new material, I also didn't feel like I needed it. Zim and Dib were still clashing, Gaz was still practical, GIR was still random. But that's I guess why nostalgia sells. If you liked the older stuff it takes a bit of a warm up to get back to it, but it's about the same. 5/10
