Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017)

I meant to offer a review of this, as I watched it as part of the Prime member pre-screening (and I got a Prime safari hat out of the deal as well!)

Overall I thought it was a good fun film that felt a lot like the original. The video game change was a clever take on making a more "current" film, and also allowed for the stars of the film to really run with the story (Jack Black and Dwayne Johnson especially). That said, nothing really felt original, which really bothered me at times. But it was fun, and for a movie franchise that's been dormant 22 years that's sometimes enough. 7/10
