Laika is a studio that has made visually stunning films: Coraline, Paranorman, and The Boxtrolls were their first three. Kubo and the Two Strings continues the trend, with a story of a boy fighting to save his remaining eye from being stolen by his grandfather (there's more to it, but that's the intro). While I do worry that the story may not hold up over time, I found the characters and worldcrafting (through both story and technical skill) to be amazing. It's definitely worth seeing at least once. 8/10
