Logan (2017)

I enjoyed Logan (2017) but had some big problems with it. Without giving anything away, I didn't like how after the first 2/3 of the movie the entire story shifted around, as though they didn't know where to take their film so they did something different. Professor X was a messy catalyst for keeping the movie together through his bad decisions, and there were a bunch of villains that usually felt like awkward additions than anything substantial. Otherwise it felt very similar to where the Patrick Stewart generation of X-Men movies ultimately went - focus on a plot for 1-2 characters and hope you can string a movie along for the ride. 6/10
