Millennium, Season 1 (1996)

This weekend I started going through the series Millennium (1996-1999). This series was by Chris Carter (X-Files) and starred Lance Henriksen (Aliens) as a former FBI profiler. This was probably one of the darkest series ever brought to broadcast tv, both in image quality (most of the time the series seems filmed in the dark and/or at night) and in topic (covering murder, abuse, kidnapping, etc.) Needless to say, it's usually crime drama with a touch of horror and/or the supernatural. The series is set in Seattle, which I didn't recall (apparently it was pitched as "Se7en in Seattle")

I watched it when it first came out in '96, but that was around when I started working retail so I think Fridays at 9pm was a hard time to make (that was also when Fox started flipping timeslots around constantly, so I stopped watching most of their programming, which included Futurama, as a result). I look forward to going through all of Millennium in the coming weeks though. Most of the way through Season 1 and I'm enjoying it. 9/10
