Mortal Engines (2018)

I didn't get to watch all of this film, but I saw enough of it for some first impressions. It's visually really interesting, but it doesn't really make a lot of sense (mobile cities eating each other for parts). Its futuristic world is also interesting, but is discussed as something almost entirely detached from the plot so you don't really understand anything that's going on in this complex world. The characters are flat, with the main characters constituting of "Awkward Librarian" (I remember the name: Tom), "Angry Lady with a Scar", and "Hugo Weaving". There's also two minor characters on Mobile Suit: London to help us understand the plot as the other characters are all running after each other.

Note that this is an imcomplete review, because I missed the end of it, but it was a confusing thing to watch, and not necessarily something I need to seek the end to. If it's free though I'll probably watch it again and give a more complete review. 4/10
