Yesterday I fell asleep before getting through the film I meant to review... so I'll talk about one I watched a little earlier this month, Notorious (1946). It's an earlier Alfred Hitchcock film, starring Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant, also including Claude Rains. In this film it's a spy movie, where Bergman is trying to collect intelligence for the Americans.
It's a good espionage film, and worth a watch: good acting, solid story, and good level of suspense (it is Hitchcock, of course). It's not the most notable of Hitchcock films, and feels a tiny bit slow in the middle as it builds to the suspense, but it's really well done. 9/10
