Poltergeist (1982)

This evening watched Poltergeist (1982), on my continuing effort to get through my unwatched and neglected movies. I rated it a 9/10 back in 2009, though I've cooled to it a little. While a suspenseful film, it doesn't age well as a plot - the pace drags a fair amount, and the story kinda over-explains itself at times. Overall, a good solid, slightly faulty, horror film.
I'd say it'd be a good movie to make a remake from, but the trailer I saw for the remake (2015) did not look good at all. 8/10
