Shivers (1975)

David Cronenberg night Part 2, with his first feature film Shivers (1975) starring Paul Hampton and Lynn Lowry. This was available through the Tubi app, so it was free with commercials to watch.

Plot of this story is pretty much a zombie movie, but instead of brain eating think of it as orgy-driven zombies. Slow to start and somewhat banal after a while, so much so that even with its 87 minute runtime it sometimes feels too long. Worth a watch if you're curious about the director's earlier style or work, or want some cheezier take on a zombie film, but not really much else. 5/10
