I watched this again after seeing the follow-up series Steins;Gate 0 (which I've also reviewed). It's still a really thrilling series that I think very highly of (currently my favorite anime series out there - probably Fullmetal Alchemist being a close second).
I own this series on Blu-Ray but think I've usually watched it through the Funimation YouTube videos (though the dubbed version is also great to listen to). It still holds up really well, and the stories are pretty much no-fluff and only cover a 3-week period.
When someone asks for an anime recommendation and has a few shows under their belt, this is hands-down my first answer. 10/10

Steins;Gate is one of my favorite anime series (originally a video game that I haven't played; I saw the 26 episode series back in May 2015) about a guy making a time machine out of a microwave. I recently noticed they added a movie to the mix (Steins;Gate the Movie: Load Region of Deja Vu (2013) released in 2013 but licensed in the US in 2017).
It was a nice epilogue to the series, and I'm glad to have noticed it. Note that this review is for the movie, not the series. 8/10

When I was watching Serial Experiments: Lain I stumbled upon this trailer to another show called Steins;Gate. The trailer hooked me with its darker time travel plot, and the first episode hooked me by being flat-out odd. I marathoned the series over the weekend, and it turned out to be an excellent series - one of the best series I've watched in a while.
you can watch all the episodes free on Funimation's YouTube page: here.
