I watched the first 8 episodes of the series "That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime" (2018 - ), available on Crunchyroll. It's a weird series about a guy who... dies and gets reincarnated as a slime. 😒 ...there's more to it than that, as the slime learns to function in a new world, which feels like a video game at some times and a LOTR fanfic in others. It's inventive and the story is going at a steady pace to start, so it may be a series worth trying out if you're looking for something new. 7/10
