The Hollow (Season 2) (2020)

I enjoyed The Hollow a lot when it dropped on Netflix in 2018, and I was even more surprised when I learned there would be another season of it this year. While not quite the same level of the first season, it was a good continuation of the series. I don't know if the plan is to keep the show going (and I'd be really curious to see how they'd do a third season, like it sounds is likely for 2022) but it has crisp and simple animation, [mostly] enjoyable characters, and enough spontaneity to keep the story unexpected and fresh.

I won't say much more than you'll see the cast again facing different challenges in another 10-episode block of 25ish minute episodes, and it keeps the series going. 7/10

Noticed that The Hollow was going to have a season 2 coming up later this year, so thought I'd give it another watch. I enjoyed this series because it was unexpected and inventive, really putting imagination into its story and generally trying to do things smart. Over top of that, the ending was certainly a twist that kept my attention.

My opinion of the series is pretty close to what I thought of it the last time, although I've warmed up to the animation a little more and the characters a little less (they get moody a lot). Still recommended though. 8/10
