The Man in the White Suit (1951) is a story about a chemist (Guinness) that invents a fabric that never wears out or gets dirty. It's an odd film, but the story was solid and aged pretty well all things considering - it starts a little slow but picks up nicely. It was an Academy Award nominee for best screenplay (losing to The Bad and The Beautiful). After watching it, it made me wish more of these more creative movies got remade instead of continuous reboots of superhero movies. 7/10
