Tonight I rewatched the classic Sweet Smell of Success (1957) starring Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis. The plot is that a newspaper columnist (Lancaster) uses his influence to break up his sister's romance. I first watched it in 2009 and gave it a 9/10. Upon a rewatch I have to adjust it to 10/10. It's a film of slimy characters and uneasy story progression, but for 1957 it holds up incredibly well as a drama. 9/10
