To Catch a Thief (1955)

To Catch a Thief (1955) started Cary Grant and Grace Kelly, and was another film directed by Hitchcock. Grant was independent from studios at this time, and came out of retirement to do this (and a few more films, such as North by Northwest). He negotiated a percent of gross revenue as part of his contact, and got $700k for this picture; Hitchcock only earned $50k by comparison.

It's a good Hitchcock film, and though some of the story feels a little weird and/or dated (some of the minor character motivations are confusing) Grant and Kelly are both charming in the film though, and work very well together. This film is available for free on Prime Video with membership. 7/10
