Triangle (2009)

I remembered first getting Triangle as a cheap rental through Google Play years back, and I watched it at least 3 times. It was short (1h39m), and it had enough of a twist going on that it was an interesting watch. It's a small cast and the acting's not amazing but still a pretty wonky story. It's classified as "horror", but I'd call it more of a psychological thriller - there's violence and death but it's not a pop-out-and-scare-you kind of film.

It you're a fan of weird timeline movies and movies that try to be clever with their writing (but try a little *too* hard), I'd say this film's a pretty good one for you. Like I mentioned, I first saw it years ago, but I didn't quite remember it. I do think the story has some weird ideas that don't make total sense, but I think that's part of its charm. It's also a reason that I think it's a little better than my initial review, and it holds up nicely over time. 8/10
