I found out I didn't comment about the band Let's Eat Grandma, which came out with one of the better albums of last year (2018). Turns out they were also at a local music festival promoting - Bumbershoot - so they were on a local radio station. Link below is a performance for KEXP.
The band's considered pop, but more in that experimental pop section, so maybe not for everyone. Their music is really interesting though, and I'd highly recommend a listen. If only because it's so distinctly different. They're off the label Transgressive records, who support other artists like Flume, Foals, and At The Drive In, if that influences you at all.
KEXP also recorded an Icelandic performance a few years back with their previous album, I Gemini. Which is an even weirder album. If you're interested in that you should be able to find that off of youtube.
